There was a lot of options to choose from so, even if you have a picky eater with you, everyone can find something. The staff were also able to adapt to requests for customisation of orders.
The seating was fantastic, especially since we could get in the shade to cool off on a hot day. The atmosphere was very atmospheric.- Wait time

Great service and even better food! We made a whopping £85 takeaway order (on a very rainy Sunday) and they prepared it so quickly! Plenty of options, including some vegan/veggie options too! Would definitely recommend this gem!

Stopped here to have lunch at the pub but saw the burger van and tried that instead. So glad we did! Burgers were delicious, service quick and staff very friendly. My only critique is probably due to more my personal taste, but the dirty fries weren't dirty enough for me. I need more sauce and toppings haha. But still delicious. Will definitely come back here.

We stopped in on our way home from Dan-yr-Ogof for a 'swift half' (the first time I've not been the driver and thus able to enjoy an ale from the excellent pub). Within 5 minutes of sitting outside in the sunshine the smell of food was simply too much to resist. A bacon cheeseburger and chips later and I am a very happy customer! Absolutely delicious. Thank you so much.

My wife and I stopped here after passing through from Dan Yr Ogof. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon and we hadn't planned food and tried to get seated inside the main building for Sunday lunch, but the restaurant was full, understandably.
So we popped outside and ordered two burgers that were both made fresh to order (Beef burger and hunters chicken burger) in around 10 minutes, and waited on the outside picnic tables for our buzzer to vibrate.
The food was absolutely brilliant, with the hunters chicken being a whole fresh chicken breast cooked to order. We'd definitely stop here again if we were passing through :)Owner response

Stopped by here earlier today , all 3 of us had burgers , we are all chefs , and we have to say these where the best burgers we have every eaten , absolutely delicious, The Chef John was a cool guy too., we will be back .

We've eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious. The bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere and it's popular with the locals which is always a good sign.

Hi Jessica. Thanks so much for your review. Sorry to hear that you weren't that keen on our choice of burger buns for our Welsh farm smashed burgers. After testing many varieties, we choose the butter rich brioche buns. We've been using them for approx. 2 years now and we receive great feedback. I guess it just comes down to personal taste. I hope that aside from this you enjoyed your time with us and hope to see you again soon.
